Bri Noonan is a queer disabled non-binary artist located in Chicago, IL where they are currently pursuing their PhD in Disability Studies at the University of Illinois Chicago. They graduated with a BFA in Photography in May 2013 and a MA in Social and Cultural Pedagogy with a Certificate in Disability Studies in May 2021 from ASU. Their work explores disability and queerness in conversation with disability studies and queer theory often utilizing artistic narrative to investigate intersectional identities to queer and crip not only spaces of sexuality, gender and dis/ability, but other aspects of identity to reimagine the relationship of the body-mind as well as how we move through and construct our social realities.

Bri originally grew up in Phoenix, AZ and enjoys spending time with friends, family, and their dog (Fable). They love reading queer romance books, making zines, and being cozy at home with their partner (Joy).
